La Bastide by Andrea Calstier, our Michelin-starred restaurant in Westchester County, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team.
Working alongside our pastry chef, you will contribute to the preparation and execution of desserts for our tasting menu and à la carte menu.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily pastry production, mise en place, and service.
Execute recipes and plating with precision and consistency.
Support seasonal menu development and recipe testing.
Maintain an organized workstation and follow food safety standards.
Assist with inventory, storage, and ingredient management.
Ideal candidate
Previous pastry experience in a professional kitchen; fine dining experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Reliable, organized, and eager to learn.
Able to work collaboratively and remain focused during service.
What we offer
$22 - $24/h depending on experience
30% dining discount for La Bastide and Cenadou
